Role Description
This is a part-time, on-site role for an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach located in Tuckahoe, NY. The Assistant Coach will design and implement strength and conditioning programs for athletes and clients. Responsibilities include coaching proper techniques, developing injury-prevention strategies, monitoring athletic performance, and providing support to the head coach.
Qualifications
1 year minimum experience
Knowledge of Sports Science principles and Athletic Performance enhancement
Understanding of Injury Prevention strategies and safe training practices
Strong interpersonal and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate individuals in a team or one-on-one environment
Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or a related field is preferred but not required
CSCS preferred
CPR/AED Certification required
Passion for fitness and helping others achieve their goal
Schedule and Compensation
Clients are built on an ongoing basis. We do not have classes. We are a 1 on 1 private training studio, not open to the public. The ideal candidate will have a flexible schedule to work either after-school (3pm-7 pm) and/or early morning (6-9 am).
Competitive pay and room for growth, $30-70 per session
