Getting more applications to your job post can be as simple as reframing your job description. We like to call this "what's in it for them" versus "what's in it for you". Forget you. Focus on the candidate and how you can help get them what they want.
You can have everything in life you want, if you will just help other people get what they want. - Zig Ziglar
Here are two real-world examples of the exact same job ad section, written two different ways — one focused on “What’s in it for you (the employer)” (bad — most gym/studio postings sound like this), and the other focused on “What’s in it for them (the candidate)” (good — this version gets 2–3× more qualified applications).

TEAM AND CULTURE
❌Be part of a positive, supportive team in a clean, upscale facility.
✅Work with other top-tier instructors who trade classes, cover for each other, and actually hang out after closing — zero drama, zero cliques.
GROWTH
❌Potential to take on more classes and leadership roles as we expand.
✅Fast track to Lead Instructor or Training Mentor role (extra $8–$12 per class) within 6–12 months if you want it — many of our current leads started exactly where you are now.
Read your posting out loud and count how many sentences start with “We…” or “Our gym…” vs. “You…”
If “We/Our” wins → you wrote it for yourself.
If “You” wins by at least 2:1 → you wrote it for the candidate (and you’ll get way more applications).
Sounds like you've got some tweaks to make. Now get to it or post your job!
